Support this site

This page is written for the grown-ups. Nothing on it is asked of a child, and nothing on the site changes if you never read it.

Why this is here

BrightKidz Library is free, and it stays free. Everything on it — every article, every game, every book — is free to read whether you pay us anything or not. Paying does not unlock anything, because there is nothing locked.

There are no ads, no accounts, and no tracking. That is not a promise we are asking you to buy; it is how the site is built, and the Privacy Policy says so in full.

Where the money goes

Honestly: to making more of this, and to the people who make it, including me.

Some of it covers real costs — hosting, the data the articles are checked against, the tools. The rest is what pays for the time. This is a small business, not a charity. We would rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise.

What it buys

Books, mostly. One book here is roughly eight or nine articles' worth of work, and most of that is the drawings. That is the honest reason there are three and not thirty.

The name

This site is published by SANAD Technologies LLC. Sanad (سند) is Arabic for support — the prop under a shelf, the thing that takes the weight. Classical scholars borrowed it for the chain of transmission: a statement was passed on only if you could name who reported it, and who they had it from, link by link. That is the standard we try to hold an article to before a child reads it, and it is the reason the company is called what it is. The About page tells the rest of that story properly, including the one other thing the same company makes — which is for adults, not for children.

What you can do today

If you would like to, you can leave a tip. It is one payment, in US dollars, for the things we have already made, and you choose the amount.

Three things are worth knowing before you follow that link, because they are the whole of it:

Changed your mind, or paid by mistake? Write to us and we will refund it in full. There is no deadline for asking, and the Terms of Use say how.

If this site has been useful to a child you know, the thing that helps most is to say so. Write to us at hello@brightkidzhub.com and tell us which page, and why. We read every message, and it is what decides which book gets made next.
