The short version, for everyone

Read, learn, and try things — that is what this site is for. Activities are meant to be done with a grown-up, especially anything involving heat, electricity, sharp tools, or chemicals. Teachers and parents may print and share our articles for home and classroom use.

The full version, for adults

1. What this site is

BrightKidz Library publishes free educational articles and activities for children aged 7–12, together with browser games that go with them and one arcade game meant as a break from reading. Using the site requires no account and costs nothing. Nothing here is sold, and nothing in it is built to sell a child anything.

An adult may choose to send us a voluntary contribution, which buys nothing and unlocks nothing. Section 5 sets out what that is and how to get it back.

2. Safety and adult supervision

Our activities are written to be attempted safely, and any activity involving heat, electricity, sharp tools, chemicals, or similar hazards includes explicit adult-supervision instructions.

Those instructions are a condition of using the activity, not a suggestion. By doing an activity with a child, you — the supervising adult — take responsibility for judging whether it suits that child, your materials, and your setting, and for supervising it throughout. You know the child; we do not.

If an instruction seems unclear or unsafe, stop and tell us. We would rather rewrite a page than have anyone guess.

3. Accuracy

We work hard to make every article accurate, and a person reviews each one before publication. Even so, we cannot promise the content is free of errors or suited to every purpose. Content is provided for general educational use, "as is", without warranties of any kind.

Found a mistake? Please report it. We correct errors.

4. Using our content

All content on this site is © SANAD Technologies LLC.

You are welcome to:

• read and use everything here freely;
• print or photocopy articles for personal, home-schooling, and classroom use, with the site name attached.

You may not, without written permission:

• republish our content on another website or in a commercial product;
• present our content as your own;
• use our content in advertising, or to train or market a commercial product.

5. Contributions

Everything on this site is free, and nothing in this section changes that.

What a contribution is. You may, if you want to, send us a one-off payment — a tip for the articles, games and books we have already published. It is entirely voluntary, and asking for one is the most we will ever do.

What it buys: nothing. It grants no access, no feature, no membership, no badge, and no content. Nothing here is locked, and no page behaves differently for someone who has paid. There is nothing to cancel, because nothing repeats: each payment is a single payment, we do not keep your card, and we will not charge you again.

It is not charity, and it is not tax-deductible. SANAD Technologies LLC is a for-profit company and not a charity. Nothing you send us can be claimed against tax, and we do not issue receipts that suggest otherwise.

Who you are paying, and who takes the payment. Your agreement is with SANAD Technologies LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. The payment itself is taken by Stripe, on Stripe's own website, under Stripe's terms — we never receive or store your card details. For the same reason your receipt and your card statement show our legal name, SANAD Technologies LLC, rather than "BrightKidz Library".

Currency. Contributions are in US dollars (USD). Your own bank may add a conversion or international fee, which is between you and your bank.

Refunds. If you change your mind, or paid by mistake, or paid more than you meant to, write to us and we will refund you in full. We set no deadline for asking and we will not ask you to justify it. A refund is returned to the card that paid and usually appears within a few working days. You are also free to ask your bank instead — but please write to us first: it is faster for you, and it costs us less.

How to ask. Email us or write to us at the address in Contact below. Tell us roughly when you paid and how much; we do not need anything else. A person reads it and replies.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SANAD Technologies LLC is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from use of this site or its activities, including activities performed without the stated adult supervision.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address, with its effective date shown at the top.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
